Rio de Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer was recently illuminated in blue to welcome the arrival of #VoiceOfTheOceans expedition in the city, calling attention to the need to #BeatPlasticPollution and to work for #CleanSeas
The two-year voyage is supported by our #CleanSeas Campaign and undertaken by Familia Schurmann, the first Latin American family to circumnavigate the world in a sailboat. The expedition, 60 destinations in all between Brazil and New Zealand, aims to witness, document, and foster solutions to marine litter in international waters.
